Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Wamsutta fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured on the left and right sides of the display; each mannequin is dressed in a differing style of dress and fabrics. Wamsutta fabrics are draped throughout the display and echo the fabrics from which the mannequins clothing are composed. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Around the Clock Cotton Fabrics by Wamsutta, Supervoile Prints and Tissue Chambrays for sheer summer loveliness, 38 to 39 inches wide, $1.39 yard, Cotton Fabric Shop, 3rd Floor, Woodward… Section D." Also, visible in the left corner foreground is the image of a Mrs. Ethel Bebb, as well as an image of a lake, swimmer, and foliage. Signage affixed to the image of the lake reads, "You are invited to meet Mrs. Ethel Bebb, educational director of Red Book Magazine who will discuss boys' and girls' camps with parents and will also talk to camp directors from this area, April 21 through 26, Boys' Store, 2nd Floor, Farmer." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "25361-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "April, 1952."
