The billboard features a gold and red case of Stroh's beer along with two glass bottles. The clock on top of the billboard reads 3:41. There is also a train traveling in the background. A white sticker on the front of the photograph has text that reads "Hammond, Ind., W/S Indianapolis Blvd., betw. Clay St.& NYC RR N-495-2R. Repainted 9/5/72." A blue ink stamp on the verso has text that reads "State Sign Co. Inc. State Outdoor Adv."
