One sepia-toned photograph (and one 11" x 14" black and white copy) showing student artwork at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows the top of a staircase with a railing at the landing. A small table, located in the space between the railing and a wall, holds a display case with various sculptures. Framed paintings hang on the walls. In the lower right corner a chair, table, and large vase of flowers can be seen. Handwritten pencil text on the verso of the copy states, "Upstairs at Children's House."
