Print. Sepia-toned photographic print of an interior home furnishings retail display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Large, heavily carved ornate tables are featured throughout the retail floor, each table is dressed with patterned china, glassware, candle sticks, or a candelabra. The table in the left foreground is dressed for tea service including cups, saucers, and tea pot. Displayed on built-in shelving are series of patterned china tableware; complete sets available at Hudson's. The photographic sequence number, photographer's name, geographic location, and date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "12470; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer; Detroit; 1928."
