Black and white photo of the World's Largest Stove at the State Fair Grounds, presumably during its 1974 disassembly. Workers stand within the stove where a corner piece of its woodwork is suspended by a crane. Three workers stand on the ground in the foreground. A sign is posted on the base of the stove with information about the Detroit Historical Society's Save the Stove Fund, "This landmark can be saved with your help! Please send your check to the Save the Stove Fund, 5401 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich. 48202." Busses are stopped beside the fairground's Department of Street Railways bus shelter in the background.
