Print, Photographic

One color photograph of a harbor breakwater under construction. The photo shows an aerial view of two crane barges which are being used to construct a line of circular cofferdam cells with steel sheet piling which are then filled with sand and aggregate. Handwritten blue ink text along the lower right edge of the photo reads "FC-1245." A green ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio, Arthur P. Stalla, SO 8-1951. Reorder No. FS6841." (The work was probably done in the Chicago area by Fitz Simons & Connell Dredge & Dock Company which was a division of Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company.)
