One black and white photograph of the new pieces of heavy stone rip rap that have been placed along the Buffington Harbor breakwater at Gary, Indiana. The breakwater and a pier are visible in the foreground. Buffington Harbor is visible at the left side of the photo and the Universal Atlas Cement Company complex can be seen on shore in the left background. Lake Michigan and the Indiana shoreline are visible in the right background. A typewritten label near the lower right corner reads "FC 1295 - Universal Atlas Cement, Buffington Plant - June 30, 1975. Side Protection - Sta. [Station] 0+00 to -1+00." The work was done by the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company.
