One black and white photograph (and one copy) of a coal storage dock under construction in South Milwaukee for the Wisconsin Electric Power Company. The elevated view shows the project site in the foreground with large areas of earth excavation, seawall construction along the Lake Michigan shoreline, and industrial building construction. Cranes, construction equipment, and piles of supplies can be seen across the site with Lake Michigan being visible in the background. It appears that the earth is lightly covered with snow. The construction work was done by the Merritt-Chapman & Scott Corporation. A typewritten label along the lower edge reads "Wisconsin Electric Power Co. - South Milwaukee, 1951, Coal Storage Dock - Lake Michigan."
