The beams have likely been salvaged from nearby old brick commercial office buildings that were being demolished as part of the Civic Center redevelopment project. The view looks northward from Woodbridge Street and shows the truck being loaded in the foreground. The Jefferson Avenue side of the new City-County Building (now the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center) can be seen in the background.
