The view looks northward from the Windsor shoreline at Alexander Park. Tall grass, wood posts, overhanging willow tree branches, a small tree, and the Detroit River are visible in the foreground. The upbound steamship and Belle Isle shoreline are visible in the background including the Nancy Brown Peace Carillon which can be seen just ahead of the steamship bow.
