One color photograph of Asher's Complete Super Market, 8509-8515 Grand River Avenue, and the Halfway Bar, 8519 Grand River Avenue near Maplewood Street, which were badly damaged during the 1967 Detroit Riot. The photo shows a 2-story brick building with broken windows on the ground floor and debris on the adjacent sidewalk. A printed black date stamp on the edge of the photo shows "Jul., 67."
