Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display for the Housewares Exposition at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Featured in the window display are cans of Nu-Hue custom paint colors as well as differing size color-wheels; signage adjacent to the stack of cans in the right foreground reads, "Come See The Wallpaper Exhibit, January 18 through January 28, in our Small Auditorium on the 12th Floor, You'll see modern wallpapers used in the newest trends for today's living." A can of paint is turned up-side-down, and beads of color appear to be pouring out of it. Signage affixed to the rear of the display features Earth with a ranch-style home affixed to the front of it, and Saturn-style rings circling with affixed logos which read, "Past, Present, Trends." Signage in the central background reads, "Your Homemaking World…Past…Present…Trends, Hudson's 17th Housewares Exposition, January 18 through 28, Start touring anywhere and see all the exciting exhibits on the 'Big Block,' 10th Floor, Nu-Hue Paints."
