Print. Black and white photographic print of large food exhibition held in the auditorium at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Several types of foods and food brands are featured in the individual displays. Visible in the right foreground are jars and bags of Heller Candies; neighboring Heller's is Ann Raskas Candies, and also featured are Katharine Beecher, Candy Cupboard, Rosemarie deParis, DeMets, Hagley Candy, Droste, and Holiday Macaroon Mix. Other types of candy are visible on the left side of the aisle as well. A large maypole is featured at the center of the food exhibition, with streamers attached from the pole to the walls. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23714-2x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1948."
