One sepia-toned photo of the Rouge River. The photo appears to have been taken near the time of sunrise or sunset and shows a very smooth water surface at a bend in the river. Many trees and tall grasses can be seen along both sides of the river. Several logs and fence posts are visible near the edge of the bank at the lower right corner of the photo. Handwritten black ink text on the verso reads "River Rouge, 1905."
