The photo looks northeastward to Scott Fountain which can be seen in the far background at the center of the photo. Bleachers are visible in the foreground as well as a temporary pool with synchronized swimmers, two diving platforms, a central stage with performers, and a long backdrop of trees. Handwritten pencil text on the verso reads "Belle Isle, 1954."
