One black and white photograph which shows buildings on 12th Street (between Hazelwood and Taylor Avenues) that were damaged by during the 1967 Detroit Riot. Fire department trucks can be seen in the right foreground and center background. Several groups of African Americans can be seen on the sidewalks. Debris is scattered along the street and sidewalks. Business signs include Joe's Super Market, A& B Bar-B-Q, US Loan Office, and Franklin Deluxe Cleaners.
