Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring home interior displays created by the Interior Decoration department at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A man and two female mannequins are featured in a living and dining room space, a drop-leaf dinette table with lamp and figurine is featured on the left side of the window behind the male mannequin. An upholstered chair, as well as a multi-tiered buffet is featured in the background, behind one of the two female mannequins. Featured on the buffet is a large plant, books, ceramic and metal trinkets, books, and atop the buffet is ceramic service ware, and an illuminated lamp. A painting is affixed to the wall in the rear of the display. The second female mannequin reclines in a woven fabric and wood chair. Window signage in the left central foreground reads, "Hudson's and House & Garden say: Live as well as you Look, indulge in your flair for the dramatic but let your taste pervade your whole scheme of living, Come to supper…buffet, about eight on Sunday, Studio of Interior Decoration, 8th Floor, Woodward, …Section C." A copy of House & Garden magazine is visible in front of the larger sign. A smaller sign to the right reads, "You are invited to attend our dramatic 'Live as well as you LOOK' Home Fashion Show, Mr. Richard Dillon of House & Garden, Guest Commentator, October 13, 14, 15, 2:30 o'clock, 8th Floor, Section C."
