Print. Black and white photographic print of differing home interior displays at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two differing types of home interior room settings are featured in partitioned vignettes. An ottoman for viewing in visible in the central foreground of the image, the right vignette features a female mannequin, dressed in daywear and looking at her wood game table with a concave center, which features two ladder-back chairs; glassware has been placed on the edges of the table. A painting is affixed to the rear of the display, and also featured in an illuminated lamp. The left vignette features a wood arm chair, with a floral and rivet upholstered cushion, and a matching occasional table. Two floral images are affixed to the rear and flank a candle. Signage affixed to the left wall in the display reads, "Live as well as you LOOK, Decorator Settings that open new doors to fashion, Eighth Floor… Section C." More vignettes are visible in the left background. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23920-19x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
