The image depicts a bedroom or dormitory room set up for two young women; a partition separates the two living spaces. Two twin beds in differing coverlets, as well as style of furniture are featured. A desk, with bulletin board and lamp is visible in the left background. A female mannequin, dressed in daywear is visible in the right side of the display. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23681-5x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "1948."
