Black and white photo of the flooded interior of the partially submerged Pennsylvania-Ontario Transportation Company railroad ferry ASHTABULA, following its collision with the BEN MOREELL, on September 18, 1958 in Ashtabula Harbor, as viewed from the port side of its open stern. "C.P. 384234" is stenciled on a submerged Canadian Pacific Railroad car partially visible in the distance. The photo has beveled edges. "8. Inside view of 'S.S. Ashtabula,' after the collision with the 'S.S. Ben Morreell[sic]' on night of 9-18-58, Ashtabula Harbor," is handwritten on the verso.
