Black and white photo of the interior of the partially submerged Pennsylvania-Ontario Transportation Company railroad ferry ASHTABULA, as viewed through the hole punched in its hull in the collision with the BEN MOREELL, on September 18, 1958 in Ashtabula Harbor. Debris lies on the left side of the frame, and a pipe extends from it to the lower right. "C.P. 358026," is stenciled on a submerged Canadian Pacific Railroad car just above the waterline on ther right side of the frame. The photo has beveled edges. "6. Inside view of 'S.S. Ashtabula,' after collision with the 'S.S. Ben Morreell[sic]' on night of 9-18-58, Ashtabula Harbor," is handwritten on the verso.
