Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of an exhibition at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A mannequin dressed in period clothing sits in a harness shop and appearing to be working with leather. Tools, wagon wheels, and horse bridals are featured throughout the display. Signage in the foreground reads, "Harness Shop. You could bet your best saddle that Sam at the Harness Shop was the finest leather craftsman for miles around. Why not only could he fix a bridle, a harness or a saddle, but he made the fanciest suitcases and ... ever traveled West! And what an artist he was - the painstaking stitching and elaborate tooling were all done by hand!" The date, photographic sequence number, company name and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-12-56; 27162-15x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
