Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two display cases are featured for the centennial celebration of Thomas Edison. Signage in the background from the case in the foreground features a lithograph of Edison, and reads, "Thomas A. Edison, Centennial, 1847, 1947." Three differing types of phonographs are featured in the foreground. The case on the left features a motion picture camera as well as images and signage of Edison. Signage affixed to the wall between the two cases reads, "Men's Clothing, Men's Shoes, Boys' Shoe Dept." The photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22753-6x; Davis B. Hillmer."
