A female mannequin stands on the left side of the display dressed in a Women's Army Corps (WAC) uniform. Cartoon drawings depict daily life in the WAC including exercise, morning routine and dining options. Signage neighboring the cartoons in the central foreground reads, "Become a WAC, 'First Class Private Mary Brown' The One Stripe shows her pride in her country and the fact that she is right behind the fellow is on the battle fronts. U.S. Army Recruiting, 600 Buhl Building." Large signage on the right side of the display depicts images of differing types of work a WAC woman could do including, radio, clerical, weather observation, photography, Army Air Forces training, food preparation, motor transport, plane dispatching, hospital work, laboratory work, map making and supply, these are some of the 239 types of Army jobs a WAC could do. The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "8-4-44; 19010-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
