One black and white photograph of a row of retail shops that was destroyed by fire during the 1967 Detroit Riot. The photo shows the storefronts of Hawkins Apparel Shop and Par-anson's Variety Stores that were located on West Warren Avenue between Epworth and Colfax Avenues. Debris is scattered on the sidewalk and street in front of the stores.
