A female mannequin is dressed in a Girl Scout Leader uniform and is observing two younger female mannequins holding a Detroit Girl Scouts flag, and also dressed in uniforms. Hand-drawn images of girl scouts helping the war efforts are featured flanked by an American flag and eagle, also included are booklets of Girl Scout songs and games. Signage in the right foreground reads, "Girl Scout Birthday Week, 31 years... Become a Girl Scout Leader, Multiply Your War Efforts Thirty Fold by Helping 30 Girls Save Our Country, Girl Scout Shop, Fourth Floor, Farmer." Also, signage is affixed in the bottom of the foreground and reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds." The date, and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "3-14-43; 18773-8x."
