Photograph, Cabinet
Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph taken of the exterior of the Perkins Hotel on the east corner of Grand River Avenue and Middle Street, as viewed from the west corner of Grand River and Jones Street. A group of men stand under the hotel's awning on the sidewalk. Streetcar rails stretch along the street. A crosswalk, defined by rectangular stones laid into the otherwise dirt street extends from the foreground across Grand River. The base of a moonlight tower is positioned on the corner on the right edge of the frame. "Richard P. Joy," is handwritten on the verso.
