Monochromatic glass plate negative taken of a pair of lights and a tender's house located on a concrete island marking a reef or shoal. Both lights are atop steel frame towers. "Elizabeth Rowboat, on St. Clair River near Algonac, Mich. Sept. 1915," was handwritten on the envelope which previously housed the negative.
