Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the starboard side of the Pittsburgh Steamship Company freighter WILLIAM R. LINN, under steam. Figures are visible at the bow, on the flying bridge, kneeling on the main deck, standing aside the deck house, and outside of the aft cabin. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. "With deck house," was typewritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
