Negative, Glass-plate

Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the bow and starboard side of the Imperial Oil Company freighter IMEROYAL, under steam. Three figures are on the flying bridge, two more are on deck along the starboard edge, and a small group is near the stern. Buildings near the shore are visible on the left in the background. "Ledu (Brit.) 135209, 1913 Grangemouth, Scotland, renamed IMPERIAL COBOURG, 1947, rebuilt 1953 - dry cargo, renamed STARBELLE," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
