Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the bow and port side of the Neptune Steamship Company freighter ARTHUR H. HAWGOOD, under steam. A figure stands on the port side outside the pilot house, another walks along the deck headed toward the stern, and a small group is gather at the stern. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. "2 FL. 45," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously housed the plate.
