Negative, Glass-plate

Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the bow and port side of the Wisconsin Steel Company freighter THE HARVESTER, under steam. Several figures are gathered along the port side of the deck, where a ladder leading to a smaller wooden-hulled boat below, likely the WHITELY, has been set up. A man in a small rowboat is near the bow of THE HARVESTER. Another boat, possibly the MARION is visible on the right edge of the frame. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background.
