Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha taken of a photographic print of the bow and port side of the Hanna Transit Company freighter HOWARD M. HANNA, JR., under steam. Several figures are on deck near both the forward cabin, and the aft cabin. The top of a lighthouse, and part of a truss are visible along the shore in the background. "Built 1914 Cleveland, #212353," was handwritten on the non-archival envelope which previously held the plate.
