Negative, glass-plate. Monochromatic glass-plate negative from the studio of Louis James Pesha depicting the port side of the Franklin Transportation Company freighter WILLIAM F. FITCH, under steam. Several crew members are on the flying bridge and near the pilot house. A pile of coal rises from the coal bunker. A man in a rowboat is off of the freighter's port side. A tree-lined shoreline, as well as two other rowboats are visible in the background.
