Negative. Black and white negative showing an overview of the deck and starboard side of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald as seen from the Ambassador Bridge. The vessel is underway (downbound) on the Detroit River in fair weather. In addition, the J. W. Westcott II mailboat can be seen running alongside the Fitzgerald for a mail delivery. The Canadian shoreline is visible in the background and the downtown buildings of Windsor, Ontario, can be seen in the upper left/center area of the photo. An upbound steamship can be seen in the distance as well as the downstream end of Belle Isle which is faintly visible in the upper left corner.
