Black and white negative of MISS CANADA III, G-8, being lowered into the water on the marine railway at Kean's Marina in Detroit. A crew member is sitting on the deck, possibly driver Harold Wilson. A large crowd lines the dock at the right, which makes it probable that the picture was taken during the 1947 or 1948 Silver Cup or the 1948 Gold Cup, all of which were entered by the boat.
