Black and white negative film taken on July 4th during the 1966 Gold Cup Race, on the Detroit River. The picture was probably taken during the final heat. MY GYPSY, driven by owner Jim Ranger, is shown here. The boat was fourth in the final heat, and seventh overall in the race. TAHOE MISS, who finished fifth in the final, but won the race, can be seen behind MY GYPSY.
