Black and white negative of the pit area at the foot of Marquette Drive at the June running of the 1968 Gold Cup Race on the Detroit River. The hydroplanes SAVAIR'S PROBE (left), and SAVAIR'S MIST (right) can be seen in the picture on their trailers. To their right is a crane used to launch and retrieve the boats. The race was cancelled and rescheduled for September.
