Negative. Black and white negative showing the starboard side of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. The vessel is empty and is moving slowly in fair weather. It is probably upbound on the St. Clair River. The top of the bow thruster tube is visible above the water surface. (The bow thruster was added in 1969.)
