Statue

One small advertising statue of Pfeiffer Brewing Company mascot, "Johnny Pfeiffer." The multi-color painted plaster statue depicts a Revolutionary War "Minuteman" figure who is walking on a grassy field and is playing a fife. The name, "Pfeiffer's," is shown in raised red script text on three sides of the rectangular base. An inset circle near one corner of the base was intended to hold a Pfeiffer's beer bottle. Stamped text on the back edge of the base reads "Pfeiffer's Brewing Co., Detroit & Flint, Mich.," and "Made by Plasto Mfg., Chicago, Ill."
