One informational sign from the "1st Basement" budget store of the downtown Detroit Hudson's store. The long, rectangular sign is made of 0.25-inch thick opaque white glass. It has white lettering on a painted background that is of a dark charcoal gray color. The back of the glass is unpainted and has a slightly rippled surface. The sign was likely held in a metal frame enclosure and was illuminated from behind.
