Hand-painted sign on heavy cardstock concerning the Navy "E" Award. A blue banner decorated with the letter "E" and the image of an anchor, both in white, flown from a flag pole with an eagle finial against a background of clouds and a blue sky. A jet plane, resembling a Bell P-59 Airacomet, flies in the upper right. The sign's text reads, "Navy 'E' Award, Symbol of Excellence. Work Well Done, In War As In Peace."
