One framed etched tin advertising sign for the "Detroit & Cleveland Steam Navigation Co." that features a starboard side view of the sidewheel passenger steamship, CITY OF ALPENA. The image is slightly raised or embossed. Gold text along the bottom of the bottom advertises, "Daily Between Detroit and Cleveland, Daily Between Cleveland and Put-In-Bay, 4 Trips Per Week Detroit and Mackinac." The sign is held in a plain wood frame that has been finished with black paint.
