Sculpture

South Wind

One bronze sculpture of a young woman. The brown metal sculpture has a green patina and a smooth finish. It shows the nude figure of a young woman who is standing on her right leg with her left leg slightly bent. She is leaning forward slightly to the left and is holding her long hair forward and to the left with her partly outstretched arms. The sculpture includes a small circular bronze base with a decorative edge that has been mounted on a larger diameter walnut or cherry wood base. The wood base has a decorative routered edge and has been finished with clear lacquer or varnish. The artist has signed his name, "Chesney," and "3/12" near the back edge of the bronze base. Also, an engraved brass plate on the front of the wood base reads "South Wind, Chesney."
