Pitcher, Cream
One cream pitcher from a dining room of the Pickands Mather & Company steamship fleet. The pitcher is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has an open top with a slightly curved spout, a rounded top edge, and a tall curved handle on the side that has a flat thumb rest. The straight sides flare outward to form a wide bottom that has a rounded outer edge and a short circular base. Narrow black and brown stripes encircle the pitcher at the midpoint. The circular, black/brown "PM" company logo is stamped on the front of the pitcher above the stripes along with brown text that reads "Canada." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 6-44."
