One watercolor painting of two Great Lakes freighters at a dock in the Milwaukee River. The painting was done on coarse art paper and shows the starboard forward section of one freighter and the starboard quarter of the other. Both are docked on the far shore. Factory buildings are visible in the background. The river and a portion of the near shoreline are visible in the foreground. The artist has signed his name, "Edward J. Dowling, 19--," near the lower right corner. Unframed.
