One watchmaker's staff or cylinder gauge. This cylinder-shaped gauge is made of brass and has a sliding center shaft with two steel pointers on the side. One pointer is stationary and the other measures the travel of the sliding wire center shaft. Locking screws are located at the top and side. No manufacturer's name or marks are visible.
