Ensemble

One lady's dress and jacket ensemble of chartreuse silk and navy cashmere twill fabric. The unlined, sleeveless dress has a round neckline, no collar, and a hemline ending at the knee. The chartreuse silk bodice has decorative bands of white and navy silk around the neckline. Matching bands have also been sewn on the front and back with very intricate arched seaming. The blue cashmere skirt has insets with arched godets below crossed seams. The hip-length jacket is lined with chartreuse silk. It has a round neckline, long straight sleeves, plain cuffs, side pockets, and a pair of fabric-covered buttons at the front. A label on the inside waist side seam shows the number, "906."
