Dress

One lady's black silk cocktail dress (a) and crinoline underskirt (b). The A-line dress features princess seams and decorative black velvet cording around the scoop neckline that extends down the two front seams of the bodice. One small velvet bow is located on each side of the collar. The dress has three-quarter length sleeves and one large, deep pocket on the right and left front panels. The skirt is lined with interfacing and includes a detachable black crinoline underskirt (b). The dress has a zipper closure located on the center back. A manufacturer's label on an inside seam on the skirt reads "Razooks, Inc., New York Plaza Hotel; Palm Springs, Pine Hurst, Lake Placid Club."

(B) One black crinoline. The crinoline fastens with hook and eye at the waist. The bottom of the skirt is bound with grosgrain ribbon.
