Dress

One lady's tea gown style dress for maternity wear. The dress is made of pale lavender silk fabric with vertical, ribbon-like stripes that alternate with a fine red/green floral design and a green twisted rope design. A plain lavender silk panel is located down the center of the bodice and down the center of the full skirt. The dress has a high collar, slightly puffed shoulders, long sleeves with lace cuffs, and has 19 flat white mother-of-pearl buttons in a hidden placket that runs down the center of the front panel from the collar to the hemline. Hook/eye closures are located at the front of the collar. The dress is trimmed with white lace at the collar, cuffs, front of the bodice, and front of the skirt. The front panel of the skirt is extra full. The back is gathered at the waist and the fabric drapes in wide pleats to the hemline. Both the bodice and skirt are lined with pale yellow silk fabric. No manufacturer's labels are visible.
